Rishi Kanna MS, MRCS

Dr Rishi Kanna is a consultant in the specialty of spine surgery and its related disorders. He finished his basic medical graduation from Madurai, where he was the best outgoing student with four gold medals. He pursued his post graduation in Orthopaedic surgery from the prestigious Post graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Chandigarh. He was elected as a member of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2007.

Through the Diplomate of National Board of Examinations at New Delhi, he completed the two year fellowship training in spine surgery at Ganga Hospital. In 2011, he underwent advanced spine surgical fellowship training at the Centre for Spinal Studies at Nottingham, England. His surgical interests include back pain, disc prolapse and related diseases, degenerative spinal disease, spinal fusion surgery, neck pain, cervical disc prolapse, spondylosis and related diseases, spinal fracture, myelopathy, osteoporosis, adolescent scoliosis, vertebroplasty, and pain management injections.
