Rinaldo Roberto De Jesus Guirro graduated in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of Sao Carlos (1990), a master's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Sao Paulo (1995), and a Ph.D. in Buco-Dental Biology and Pathology from the State University of Campinas (2000). He was an alternate member of CREFITO-3/SP (2004-2010) and since 1998 he has been a member of the SESU/INEP evaluator team and is currently an evaluator of the National Higher Education Evaluation System – BASIS and a member of the Qualis Livro Commission and the Area 21 Triennial Assessment – CAPES. He was a professor of the Undergraduate course (1992 – 2008) and coordinator of the Master's course in Physiotherapy at UNIMEP (2002-2008). He is currently a professor at the Graduation Course in Physiotherapy and at the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences Applied to the Locomotor Apparatus, linked to the Department of Biomechanics, Medicine and Rehabilitation of the Locomotor Apparatus at the University of São Paulo – Ribeirão Preto campus and is Co-Editor of the Revista Fisioterapia e Pesquisa. He has experience in the field of Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Electro-Photo-Thermal Resources. He develops research in the area of Physiotherapeutic Instrumentation and Intervention.
