Richard Won Kang MD, MS

Richard Won Kang is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University of Chicago Medicine and Illinois Bone and Joint Institute. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He also has subspecialty certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. His practice focuses on hip preservation and sports medicine surgery. This includes arthroscopic and other minimally invasive procedures of the hip, shoulder, and knee. He completed a combined MD/MS program at Rush Medical College and the Graduate College of Rush University in Chicago. During medical school, he was fortunate to be selected as one of the top medical students by being elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
