Dr. Richard T. Callery is a Forensic Pathologist, a physician who is an expert in analyzing and determining cause and manner of death and investigating suspicious and sudden deaths using medical examinations and investigative techniques. He is specifically trained and skilled in injury analysis, and has the knowledge to answer questions such as mechanism, causation, and age of injuries.

Dr. Callery's expertise can also be applied to the assessment of causation and mechanism of injuries in living people, particularly regarding allegations of child abuse; to render opinions on the expected effects of those injuries on the subsequent activity, consciousness, and pain and suffering; and to determine whether injuries of children are accidental or non-accidental.
