Dr Richard Roope is the Clinical Champion for Cancer. He trained in Cambridge and The Royal London Hospital and has had sessional work in the cancer arena since 2002, initially as the Primary Cancer Care Lead, and since 2011, he has been the Cancer Network GP Lead, a role that is continuing in the new Wessex Area Team. He is also an Occupational Health Physician 1 day a week, having studied for the MSc through Manchester University
