Richard Rammo MD

Dr. Richard Rammo, M.D., is a board-certified neurosurgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Neuro-Restoration. He specializes in epilepsy surgery and functional neurosurgery, offering advanced surgical care for adults with complex neurological disorders, including intractable epilepsy, movement disorders, hydrocephalus, and other conditions of the central nervous system.

He completed his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, followed by residency training in neurological surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, and subsequently pursued dual fellowship training in stereotactic & functional neurosurgery and epilepsy surgery at Cleveland Clinic, equipping him with deep expertise in neuromodulation, deep brain stimulation, and minimally invasive surgical techniques aimed at improving neurological function and quality of life for his patients.

Dr. Rammo is actively involved in clinical research and publications in neurosurgery and functional neuromodulation, contributes to education and training within one of the world’s leading epilepsy surgery programs, and is recognized for his patient-centered approach, strong patient satisfaction ratings, and commitment to advancing surgical treatment options for neurological disorders.
