Richard Phillip Dellinger

R. Phillip Dellinger, MD is Professor and Chair, Department of Medicine, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and Chief, Medicine Service at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and did his residency and fellowship training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. Dr. Dellinger has authored or co-authored over 250 original articles, book chapters, abstracts and films with a predominant emphasis on sepsis.

He is co-editor of the second, third and soon to be released fourth edition of Critical Care Medicine textbook (Mosby), and associate editor for Critical Care Medicine journal. He is a past president of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
