Richard L. Gamelli

Richard L. Gamelli, MD, FACS, former dean of the Stritch School of Medicine (SSOM), is settling into his new position as senior vice president and provost of health sciences for Loyola University Chicago, a position he took over back in May.

Dr. Gamelli’s appointment came as part of the recent consolidation of Loyola University Health System with Trinity Health. We sat down with Dr. Gamelli recently to discuss his time at Loyola and his goals for the Health Sciences Division of the University.
