Richard J. Gannotta BSN, NP, DHA, MBA

Rick Gannotta, is currently the COO of UC Irvine Health. Prior to his appointment, Rick was with New York City Health and Hospitals where he served as the senior vice president over the cities 11 public hospitals. Rick has held senior executive positions (president) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital. In addition to experience in a variety of clinical settings as a nurse practitioner, Rick has been an avid researcher and remains faculty at NYU Wagner School as visiting scholar and adjunct at Northwestern. Rick completed his BSN and Nurse Practitioner degrees at Florida International University, MBA at Campbell University and Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, he is a J&J Wharton Fellow (1996) and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
