Dick Tucker graduated from the university of Washington School of Dentistry in 1976, and has maintained a private dental practice in Bellingham Washington for the past 40 Years. He is an operating member of one clinical study club, which meets monthly, and mentors three clinical study clubs in cast gold restorations also monthly. Dick has lectured in Mexico, Canada, the United States, and Europe. Other educational endeavors include teaching an elective course in cast gold restorations at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, and teaching the Tucker Institute course in Cast Gold Restorations.
He is also an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and past president of the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators. If he can’t be practicing dentistry, he enjoys fishing, sailing and mountain climbing, having climbed six peaks over 18,000 feet.
