Dr. Brull completed his anesthesia residency at the University of Toronto in 2004 and undertook fellowship training in regional anesthesia at The Hospital For Special Surgery in New York City. He returned to Toronto Western Hospital as a staff anesthesiologist in 2005 with strong clinical and research interests in regional anesthesia. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and is the Executive Section Editor for the Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain section of Anesthesia & Analgesia. He recently completed his term as the Site Chief for the Department of Anesthesia at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto and was subsequently appointed the inaugural Evelyn Bateman Cara Operations Chair in Ambulatory Anesthesia and Women’s Health at Women’s College Hospital. Dr. Brull currently holds the rank of Professor of Anesthesia at the University of Toronto.
