Richard Banks MSc, CMgr, FCMI

Richard joined Virtus in August 2017 with a strong reputation in strategic planning, service transformation, operational turnaround, business development and program management. Richard has significant experience of working with Executive teams in healthcare organisations and enjoys both developing strategy and taking plans through to implementation.

Richard received his formal management training through the UK’s NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme and he has a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management and Leadership. He has worked as an NHS Director, Management Consultant and Private Hospital Director. Richard is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Leadership and Management. Richard plays a vital role in the expansion of Virtus operations within Europe.
