Riccardo Becciani

Dr. Riccardo Becciani graduated in Florence in 1983 with 110 cum laude and specialized in Siena in 1989. From '92 to '96 he taught as a lecturer in Endodontics at the School of Specialization of the University of Siena. From 2002 to 2006 he was a contract professor at the University of Siena in the integrative course of Aesthetics and adhesive techniques in pediatric dentistry. Author of numerous scientific publications concerning endodontics and conservative dentistry. He is the author of the chapter on ultrasound in the text "Endodontics" by Dr. Castellucci and of the chapter on the reconstruction of the endodontically treated tooth in the new English edition of the same text. He collaborated with Dr. Fradeani in drafting the text Aesthetic Rehabilitation in Fixed Prosthesis Vol.2. He has written two important dossiers on the biomechanics of endodontically treated teeth published by Dental Cadmos in 002 and 2004 and an article on the Surgical Extrusion technique published in four languages ??by Quintessenza. Speaker at numerous courses and conferences in Italy and abroad, for several years he has been dealing with topics such as the biomechanics of endodontically treated teeth, adhesive and aesthetic dentistry and surgical extrusion. An active member of numerous scientific societies, he has been holding courses on adhesive restorative dentistry for over fifteen years. In 2012 he founded the Think Adhesive Group to promote the “adhesive mentality” within the traditional concepts of restorative dentistry.
