Ricardo Meirelles

Dr. Ricardo Meirelles is Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1971), specializing in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1972), and Notório Saber from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2007).

He is Director of the State Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology Luiz Capriglione, President of the Social Communication Commission of the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism, State Coordinator of the National Neonatal Screening Program in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Associate Professor of Endocrinology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Co-editor of the Archives of Endocrinology and Metabolism. Has to experience in Medicine, focusing on Endocrinology, acting on the following topics: menopause, andropause, thyroid, pediatric endocrinology, diabetes, and obesity.
