Rhonda L. D’Agostino as nurse practitioner coordinator of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Intensive Care Unit and Post-Operative Care Unit, She oversee 40 advance practice providers, manage Memorial Hospital’s Rapid Response Team, and oversee various initiatives in critical care. She graduated from New York University in 2006 as a nurse practitioner (NP) in acute care and joined MSK in 2007. At that time, there was no model on which to base the critical care medicine NP team either locally or nationally. With support, She spearheaded a new-graduate on-boarding program for NPs and later physician assistants (PAs). Since 2011, I have also directed a critical care symposium for NPs and PAs annually.

She certified as a critical care and emergency nurse, served as adjunct faculty at New York University, and was the first nurse at MSK to be inducted as a fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine. She is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, Chest and American Association of Nurse Practitioners, whose conferences She spoken at annually. Recently, we developed the first NP fellowship program in the Northeast.
