Rheure Alves Moreira Lopes MSc, PhD

Dr. Rheure Alves Moreira Lopes, MSc, PhD, is a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow. He received his doctorate of philosophy from the University of Sao Paulo. Currently, he works in the area of Cardiovascular Pharmacology with a particular interest in vascular dysfunction associated with hypertension. Molecular mechanisms involving the generation of ROS, apoptosis, calcium and sodium influx/channels, and protein oxidation are currently been investigated in his work. His research interests include Pharmacology, Vascular Biology, Oxidative Stress, Molecular Biology, Cardiovascular Medicine.
