Reshma Gupta MD, MSHPM

Reshma Guptais a practicing internal medicine physician and Medical Director for Quality and Value Improvement at the University of California Los Angeles. She trained for medical school at the University of California San Francisco, residency and chief residency at the University of Washington Seattle, and the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Fellowship with a master’s in health policy and management at the University of California Los Angeles.
Gupta’s works has focused in health system innovation, policy, implementation redesign, and education to better define and improve the culture of delivering high quality care at lower cost. She has worked as an expert advisor with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovations center (CMMI) to test new models of value promoting payment reform. Her research created the first High Value Care Culture Survey and evaluated drivers of value-based decision making in medical centers across California.
