Renita S. Folds

Ms. Folds has over ten years of experience in experiential research and consumer product testing. She began her career at Georgia Tech supporting the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use commendation program where she has worked directly with people with moderate to severe arthritis to understand the barriers they face when interacting with everyday products. Her business training and expertise in qualitative research facilitates the experiential insights needed to drive consumer product innovation.

Ms. Folds is the Participant Manager for Consumer Products Integration Branch, which includes Georgia Tech’s HomeLab research initiative. She has been instrumental in recruiting and maintaining relationships with over 600 participants. She has been the course facilitator for GTRI’s Human Systems Integration course since 2006 and has assisted in the development of the Consumer Products Integration short course on designing everyday products and packaging solutions that are easy to use.
