Renee E. Coover JD

Renee E. Coover has always been an excellent communicator. From the stage to the board room, in the courtroom, and even on a TED Talk platform, Renee is comfortable in front of any audience. And as an owner of several businesses in the healthcare and legal industries, Renee developed a business acumen that has been an asset in her career in helping others succeed.

Renee has a unique background, blending litigation with healthcare law. A former litigator in high-stakes employment cases, Renee has extensive experience with counseling and representing businesses in employment matters, policies, and contract disputes, and defending business owners in state and federal trials. She has also served as General Counsel for the American Med Spa Association (AmSpa), advising health care professionals on regulatory and legal issues governing the medical spa industry.

Renee’s practice focuses on representing business clients, primarily in the health care industry. Renee assists doctors, dentists, nurses, and other medical professionals with their businesses and regulatory challenges. She routinely advises and counsels business owners in proper corporate formation, complying with specific state laws and regulations, and implementing proper employment policies and practices for their business.

Outside of work, Renee enjoys running, yoga, baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two young children. She is very involved in her community and enjoys serving others by serving as a board member of the Riverside Junior Women’s Charity, volunteering with Reclaim13, and advocating for women’s rights.
