Regine P. M. Steegers-theunissen MD, PhD

Prof. Régine P.M. Steegers-Theunissen (1960) fully qualified as M.D. (1986) and acquired her PhD thesis (1993) at the Catholic University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. After a master in Epidemiology at the same University (1993) she became assistant professor (1994) at the University Medical Center Nijmegen. In 1998 she received the prestigious 5 years fellowship of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences. In 2001 she became associate professor in Reproductive Epidemiology in Nijmegen. In July 2005 she moved and became associate professor in Reproductive Epidemiology at the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
