Redonna K. Chandler, Ph.D. is the Acting Director of the Division of Epidemiology, Services, and Prevention Research at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a component of the National Institutes of Health. She has served in numerous positions at NIDA including Chief of the Services Research Branch and as a health scientist administrator. She has developed research initiatives focused on improving the quality of drug abuse treatment and HIV care, addressing the intersection of drug use and criminal activity, implementing evidence based addiction treatment into a variety of settings, and harmonizing data across independent research studies.
