Dr. Rebecca Marlene Baron is a physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). She is also an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS). She received her medical degree from HMS. She then completed a residency in internal medicine, a chief residency program, and two fellowships in pulmonary disease at BWH.

She is board certified in pulmonary disease, internal medicine, and critical care medicine. Dr. Baron’s clinical interests lie in acute lung injury, lung transplantation, and sepsis. She is currently researching ways to prevent the inflammatory effects of sepsis and lung injury. She has written over 70 peer-reviewed publications and has received funding from the National Institutes of Health.
