Rebecca J. Wolsky MD

Rebecca professional mission is to provide UCSF diagnostic surgical pathology services in general anatomic pathology, with a subspecialty focus in gynecologic pathology, to our patients at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). Her clinical practice is based at ZSFG where she serves as Director of Surgical Pathology. She also serve as the gynecologic specialty pathologist for the monthly gynecologic multidisciplinary tumor board at ZSFG, and as a pathologist for the weekly general pathology multidisciplinary tumor board at ZSFG.

As Director of Surgical Pathology at ZSFG, she provides clinical supervision of the histology lab, gross room, and surgical pathology clinical service, including overseeing surgical pathology attendings, residents, medical students, pathology assistants, histology supervisors, and histotechnologists.

Her research involves translational research in gynecologic pathology, in particular gynecologic neoplasms. Specific areas of interest include pelvic serous tumors, and endometrial, myometrial, and cervical pathology.
