Raymond Javan Chan RN, BN, MAppSc, PhD, FACN, GAICD

Raymond Javan Chan is Director and Matthew Flinders Professor of Cancer Nursing at Caring Futures Institute at Flinders University in Australia. Raymond Chan is a Professor of Cancer Nursing, at Metro South Health and the Queensland University of Technology. Ray is an NHMRC Investigator and his program of research focuses on optimizing models of care and outcomes for cancer survivors. To date, he has attracted >21.5 million (AUD) of research project grants as a chief investigator (>$7.2 Million as CIA) to undertake research in supportive cancer care. Prof Chan is a chief investigator for 4 NHMRC project grants, 1 NHMRC Partnership Grant, and 1 NHMRC Fellowship, and has published >140 peer-reviewed articles. In Mar 2021, he was inducted into the Sigma International Nurse Researcher Fall of Fame.
