Dr. Rashmi Nisha Aurora, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Clinically, she is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing. Her research interests include examining cardiometabolic outcomes in sleep-disordered breathing with a focus on sex-specific differences.
Dr. Aurora has served on the AASM Foundation Board of Directors since June 2017 and became President in June 2023. She previously served on the AASM Board of Directors and is currently the Chair for the AASM Guidelines Advisory Panel and an Associate Editor for the JCSM Editorial Board.
