Rashmi Singh MD, FAHS, FAAN

Dr. Rashmi B. Halker Singh is a neurologist and professor of neurology based in Phoenix, Arizona, specializing in headache medicine and migraine disorders. She is a consultant in the Division of Headache within the Department of Neurology and serves as Medical Director for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity.

Dr. Halker Singh’s clinical and research work focuses on primary and secondary headache disorders, including migraine, chronic daily headache, and cluster headache. Her research aims to better understand disease mechanisms, improve clinical phenotyping, and develop innovative therapies through clinical trials. She has a particular interest in gender differences in migraine and advocates for women’s health and leadership in neurology.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her BA with honors in neuroscience, she completed her MD at Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by neurology residency and specialized headache fellowship training at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Halker Singh is widely recognized for her leadership in neurology education and professional organizations, including the American Headache Society and the American Academy of Neurology. She has received numerous honors, including the Phoenix Magazine “Top Doctors” award and Mayo Clinic awards for excellence, education, and diversity initiatives.
