Dr. Rashim Kataria, MBBS, MSc, MCh, is a Neurosurgeon at Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Rajasthan, India. He graduated from SMS Medical college. He pursued MS in General Surgery from RNT Medical college, Udaipur, Rajasthan (2003). His first-hand Neurosurgery experience started in 2003 when he joined as a senior resident in the department of neurosurgery at GTB Hospital Shadra, Delhi. He bagged the first position in the MCh entrance exam conducted by the University of Rajasthan in 2004 and joined MCh in Neurosurgery again at his parent institution i.e. SMS Medical College, Jaipur & was awarded MCh in neurosurgery in 2007. He worked as a consultant Neurosurgeon at Paras Hospital Gurugram (Haryana) from 2007 to 2009 before becoming a faculty at SMS Medical College in July 2009. He stood first in the RPSC recruitment exam in 2012. He offers some advanced treatments for diseases like Intracranial Aneurysms, Sellar –supra sellar region tumors such as Craniopharyngiomas, endoscopic Pituitary adenomas & other Skull Base Tumors, Hydrocephalus, Gliomas Meningioma, open & minimally invasive Spine surgeries, etc.

He has a special interest in surgery for endoscopic Pituitary adenoma surgery, Cranio-Vertebral (CV) Junction & Neuro-intervention (coiling for aneurysms).
