Raphael Rocha MD

Dr. Raphael Rocha, MD is a Director of the Urology Course at the IRCAD Latin America. He Graduated in medicine from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), with a medical residency in General Surgery at the Federal Hospital of Bonsucesso and in Urology at the Federal Hospital of the State Servers. He completed his Master's degree with a concentration area in video-endoscopic techniques, more specifically in robotic surgery, from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO). His training in robotic surgery was overseen by Dr. Vipul Patel MD (Global Robotics Institute – Florida Hospital, Celebration, USA).

Dr. Raphael Rocha participated in the implementation of robotic surgery at Hospital Samaritano in Rio de Janeiro. He is a physician in the department of Urological Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital Federal dos Servidores do Estado, as well as the physician in charge of Oncological Urology at the COI Oncology Center, Americas Medical City. Member of the Brazilian Society of Urology and International Member of the American Urological Association (AUA).
