Raouf S. Gharbo DO

Raouf S. Gharbo, DO, is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist and neuromuscular electrophysiologist. He is accredited in pain management by the AAPM and author of a chapter in an international electrophysiology textbook. Dr. Gharbo has spoken nationally and internationally on electrophysiology, rehabilitation, and pain management topics and is a contributing author for a grant proposal for the first randomized clinical trial for HRV and chronic pain with Dr. Jay Ginsberg. He is fascinated by the nexus between mindfulness, HRV and autonomic nervous system regulation. He recently instituted an easily measurable and reproducible hospital-based program called “It’s Both” to improve safety, engagement, empowerment, and treatment partnership after elective joint replacement surgery.
