Ranbir Bains PhD, MSN, APRN, CPNP

Ranbir Mangat Bains is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in an inner city school-based health center that serves students aged pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. She has practiced in middle and elementary SBHCs for over 13 years in New Haven, Connecticut. Mangat Bains was hired to open up a new SBHC eight years ago and still works there presently. She received her undergraduate degree in microbial, cellular, and molecular biology from the University of Calgary and her graduate degree in nursing from Yale University. She completed a Ph.D. in nursing. Mangat Bains’ research area for her dissertation is behavioral health services in SBHCs.
