Ramiro Benavente MD

Dr. Ramiro Cabello Benavente, MD has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Alcalá in 2001. He also specialized in Urology at the Hospital General Universitario Greogrio Marañón (2002-2007).

After his specialization, Dr. Cabello began working at the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón (2007-2008) to later work at the Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz (Quirónsalud Madrid) since 2008.

Since 2008, Dr. Ramiro Cabello Benavente has focused on the development of laparoscopic surgery in urology and kidney transplantation. He has extensive experience in the transperitoneal as well as retroperitoneal laparoscopic approach for the treatment of oncological and reconstructive urological pathology.

On the other hand, Dr. Cabello is also a prominent teaching collaborator in the Department of Surgery at the Autonomous University of Madrid since 2008. In addition, he is a member of the Spanish Association of Urology (AEU) and the European Association of Urology (EAU).
