Ramesh Gopinath BTech, PhD

Ramesh Gopinath arrived at IBM Research in March 1994 after completing his doctoral and post-doctoral work at Rice University. His undergraduate degree is from the Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai, India. Ramesh’s initial field of research centered on speech technologies. In 2007 he shifted focus to collaborative technologies, with an emphasis on LotusLive the precursor to IBM Connections Social Cloud. Gobinath is currentoy based at the Watson Lab as Vice President of Blockchain Solutions and Research.
