Ramanathan (nathan) Kasivisvanathan BMedSci, BMBS, FRCA, MSc

Dr. Ramanathan (Nathan for short) Kasivisvanathan is a Consultant Anaesthetist at The Royal Marsden and took over as lead clinician of the pre-operative surgical assessment service at The Royal Marsden in 2015.

He obtained a medical degree from the University of Nottingham graduating with honors. He completed his anesthetic training on the University College London/Royal Free School of anesthesia focusing on major, high risk and oncological surgery. This included further fellowship training and experience at The Royal Free Hospital, The Royal Marsden, The Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, The Royal London and Umea University Hospital Sweden.

He also spent a year as an honorary University College London/Wellcome Trust Research Associate based at The Royal Free. He is published in a number of perioperative care areas, including point of care testing and transfusion, analgesia for major surgery, CPET and surgical risk.
