Ralph E Stanley MBBS, FAMS, FRCS

Dr. Stanley is an internationally renowned ENT Surgeon and was the former Head and Senior Consultant of the Ear Nose and Throat Department, Singapore General Hospital. He is currently the Director and Senior Consultant of Stanley Ear Nose Throat and Sinus Centre, situated at the prestigious Gleneagles Hospital, a tertiary care centre.

Dr. Stanley graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS in 1978, and subsequently went on two scholarships, to Edinburgh for his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) and advanced training in Head & Neck Surgery at Guys & Royal Marsden Hospital, Royal National Throat Ear and Nose Hospital, University College London.

Armed with more than 33 years of experience in ENT, Dr. Stanley’s clinical specialities of interest include Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Head and Neck Cancer Surgery and Allergy-related ENT diseases – skills which he honed in the course of his training and practice in Otorhinolaryngology. His expansive knowledge and wisdom in his areas of interests has seen him undertake several distinguished positions in the medical community such as Medical Expert Panel for the Primary Dispute Resolution Centre, Subordinate Courts (Singapore). Most notably, Dr Stanley was invited to perform live Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
