Ralph Boulton BSc, PhD, MBBS, FRCP

Dr Ralph Boulton trained at St Mary’s Hospital in London and qualified in with Honours in 1987. His early post-graduate training was in the Radcliffe Hospitals Oxford, Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge, and Hammersmith Hospital London. He was a Registrar at the Royal Free Hospital in London and followed this with a period of research as an MRC Fellow at the Hammersmith Hospital and he was awarded a PhD in 1998. Ralph completed his post graduate training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he is now a Consultant.

Dr Boulton was the clinical service lead for gastroenterology at University Hospital Birmingham and is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in the University of Birmingham.
