Dr. Rakhi Naik is the Associate Program Director for Hematology for the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical & Electrical Engineering from Duke University and her M.D. with Honors in Research from Cornell University. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology Fellowship training at Johns Hopkins, where she also served as Assistant Chief of Service (Chief Resident). Dr. Naik has additionally received a Masters in Health Science (MHS) from the Graduate Training Program in Clinical Investigation at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Dr. Naik specializes in the treatment of adult patients with blood and bone marrow disorders. Her primary focus is caring for patients with coagulation disorders such as abnormal bleeding and clotting, immune cytopenias such as ITP, AIHA, and TTP, myeloid disorders, and hemoglobinopathies.
