Rakhi Maiwall MD, DM

Dr Rakhi Maiwall working as Professor of Hepatology at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences. She has 136 publications and has a special interest in critical care hepatology, AKI in liver disease, liver regeneration, and artificial liver support therapies. She is in charge of the liver intensive care unit at ILBS and also is the Vice-secretary of the International Club of Ascites.

Rakhi serves as the associate editor of Hepatology International and is also a member of the editorial board of Liver Transplantation Journal. She has won several awards including the prestigious “APASL Rising Star Award” for her active contribution to clinical research.
