Dr. Chawla has a proven ability to listen, assess, investigate your pain, and take appropriate decisions to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan. He is a dynamic member of a multi-disciplinary team and he thrives on making meaningful changes to his patients’ lives by reducing pain and pain-related disability and distress.
Dr. Chawla completed his postgraduate specialist training from the UK and achieved a dual Anaesthetic fellowship (London and Dublin). He underwent comprehensive Pain training in the UK at The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool leading to him achieving FFPMRCA (Fellow of Faculty of Pain Medicine of Royal College of Anaesthetists London UK). He is a full-time Pain Specialist and before moving to Australia he has been practicing for 11 years as a Consultant in Pain Medicine at The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool, U.K.
Dr. Chawla’s specialist clinical interests include spinal pain, nerve pain, neuromodulation/spinal cord stimulation for pain and other neurological conditions, spinal interventions for persistent pain, pelvic pain, and facial pain.
