Raj heads the global competitive & strategic intelligence function for Takeda and is based in Tokyo. His focus is to design and develop an intelligence
organization that will deliver intelligence products for Global Marketing and Regional stakeholders. Raj joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals Company Ltd in 2010;
driving Asia BD&L- specifically M&A diligence and scouting programs, later moved on to New Product Planning & Portfolio Strategy roles.
Prior to Takeda, Raj has nearly a decade of experience in the pharma / biotech management consulting gained through working for firms such as Deloitte, IMS Health, KAE Marketing Intelligence & focusing on; M&A Diligence, designing Strategic and competitive intelligence programs, commercial excellence and new product commercialization themes across regions. Raj has lived and worked in India, U.S, U.K and Singapore. His educational qualifications include Bachelors in Chemical Engineering and Technology (Central Electrochemical Research Institute, CSIR, India) and Masters in Business Administration (Corp Strategy & Marketing) from, BIM, Trichy, India.
