Dr. Rajan Bhardwaj is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. He’s also the health and medicine columnist for CBC Western Canada, and the host of the DDx podcast.
Raj’s passion is science communication and helping to raise health literacy in our community. He helps health professionals stay current as well, by organizing and teaching at medical conferences. He’s also a self-proclaimed nerd, speaking on topics such as “How to Die in Space” and “How to Hack Your Hangover” at events such as Adults Only Night at Telus Spark and NerdNite, as well as volunteering for Beakerhead and the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo (and winning the occasional costume contest at science fiction conventions).
