Dr. Raj Vyas is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in cleft, craniofacial, and maxillofacial surgery. His clinical interests include cleft and complex rhinoplasty, facial reanimation surgery for facial paralysis, and pediatric microsurgical reconstruction. He is active in clinical, basic science, and translational research, including tissue engineering, craniofacial implant design, global outreach, surgical anatomy education, and the use of AR/VR/3D surgical technologies. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, presented nationally and internationally on cleft and craniofacial care, and provides committee service and leadership to several national and international organizations and academic societies.

Dr. Vyas obtained his BS from Stanford University with Honors and Distinction and his MD from UCLA, where he graduated first in his class (Stafford L. Warren Medal) and first in Surgery (The Longmire Medal). He completed plastic surgery training in the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Program and Craniofacial Surgery fellowship at New York University’s Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
