Raffaele Sperandeo specialized in Psychiatry and Gestalt Psychotherapy is Ph.D. in Behavioral Sciences. He is a Full Professor in Gestalt Psychotherapy Recognized by the FISIG Italian Federation of Gestalt Schools and Institutes. He carried out research activities on Personality Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and dissociative phenomena at the Institute of Psychiatry of the University of Naples SUN. He worked at the Assistance Service of Psychiatry and Behavioral Epidemiology of the AOD Cotugno of Naples. research on the psychosocial aspects of HIV infection on the psychopathological and clinical dimensions of substance use disorders and on integrated treatment models for clients with multiple diagnoses. He was president of the Naples branch of ASPIC Counseling and Culture, which carries out training accredited by the Campania region in the context of the POR, counseling training recognized by the Campania region, by the European Association for Counseling (EAC) and by the National Council of Professional Counselors (CNCP). He was president of the National Federation of ASPIC Offices (FENASPIC) which has among its aims the definition of international standards for the training and professional practice of counselors.

He was a contract professor of Clinical Psychology and Personality Psychology - Faculty of Psychology of the Second University of Naples.
