Dr. Raed Al-Rajabi is an Associate Professor of medicine in the division of medical oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and leads the GI medical oncology group.
Dr. Al-Rajabi received his medical degree from the University of Jordan and proceeded to complete his internal medicine residency and chief residency at St. Vincent's Charity Hospital/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. He completed his hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. His research interests include clinical and translational research in gastrointestinal malignancies.
In 2013 moved to Kansas he worked at both the Kansas City VA and the University of Kansas Medical Center. Developed a multidisciplinary liver cancer clinic to serve affected veterans. In 2016 transitioned full-time to the University of Kansas Cancer Center to lead the GI oncology group and expand the GI research program. Dr. Al-Rajabi also serves as the advanced clinical informatics director at the University of Kansas Cancer Center.
