Raed Alhusayen MBBS, MSCE, FRCPC

Dr. Alhusayen is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto and an associate scientist at Sunnybrook research institute. He completed a fellowship in advanced medical dermatology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and a Masters degree in clinical epidemiology from U of T. Dr. Alhusayen’s research applies dermatoepidemiology techniques to study disease trends, associations, and treatment efficacy. He runs a full-time complex medical dermatology practice with a focus on hidradenitis suppurativa, cutaneous lymphomas, and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Alhusayen is the president of the Canadian HS foundation. He is also the supervisor for clinical research in the advanced medical dermatology fellowship program.
