Dr. Aravamudhan joined Salus University after completing her research fellowship education at Boys Town National Research Hospital. She received her Ph.D. from Kent State University in Audiology with a minor in Cognition. She is currently the Interim Dean for the College and an associate professor at the Osborne College of Audiology (OCA).
Her primary roles within the college are teaching and research along with an administrative role of serving as the Interim Dean. Her areas of research interests include understanding electrophysiologic correlates of speech encoding in the auditory system and role of signal processing (in auditory prosthesis such as cochlear implants) on speech perception and perceptual learning.
