Rachel Lee Rosen MD, MPH

Rachel Lee Rosen, MD, MPH, is a pediatric gastroenterologist, physician-scientist, and Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She serves as Director of the Aerodigestive Center and is a senior physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Rosen earned her medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her pediatric residency at Duke University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Boston Children's Hospital.

Her clinical expertise focuses on pediatric esophageal disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), swallowing disorders, gastrointestinal motility, and complex aerodigestive conditions. An internationally recognized leader in pediatric gastroenterology, Dr. Rosen has led groundbreaking research supported by the National Institutes of Health, advancing the diagnosis and treatment of reflux, esophageal dysfunction, and upper gastrointestinal motility disorders affecting the airway and lungs. Through her commitment to innovative research, multidisciplinary care, and medical education, she continues to improve outcomes for children with complex digestive and aerodigestive diseases while mentoring the next generation of pediatric gastroenterologists.
