Rachel J. Bystritsky MD

Dr. Rachel Bystritsky is an infectious disease specialist who sees patients at the UCSF Medical Center and Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center. She received her MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2012 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center where she went on to be a chief resident. She completed Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, where she has remained on faculty. Her clinical activities include seeing outpatients at the 360 Positive Care Center and the Laguna Honda Hospital infectious diseases clinic, and attending on the inpatient infectious diseases consult service at Parnassus and Mission Bay. Her academic and research interest focuses on antimicrobial stewardship.
