Rachel Edwards BSc, PhD

Rachel Edwards, BSc,Ph.D., with over 15 years of experience in Clinical Operations, is currently Director & Regional Head for Central and Emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa within Global Study Operations at Amgen, where she has worked for the last seven years. Rachel has previously worked in Study Management & Medical Affairs roles at AstraZeneca and Eli Lilly. During her time at Amgen she has led the implementation of the FSP model for the sourcing of CRAs and CTAs across 11 CRO providers in 53 countries which has been continuously delivering both in terms of quality and performance. For the past 2 years Rachel has been leading the risk based centralized monitoring model development and implementation.
