Rachael R. Majorowicz RDN, LD, FNKF

Rachael is a renal dietitian for Mayo Clinic Dialysis Services and an Assistant Professor in Nutrition for the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She has 15 years of experience providing patient care, creating educational materials, and writing medical nutrition therapy guidelines. She routinely presents to medical students, Nephrology fellows, physicians, and nurses, as well as at professional conferences.

She also provides mentorship of Mayo Clinic dietetic interns and renal dietitians internationally. As a former chair of the Renal Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition Dietetics, she has been involved in national practice initiatives, active on the RPG executive committee for nearly 10 years, and now oversees the revision of the National Renal Diet. She has participated in a variety of nutrition research projects, co-authored a four-part article series on quality improvement in renal nutrition, and recently completed a quality improvement project using carnitine to alleviate cramps for dialysis patients.
