R. Scott Conley received his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he was also elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
He received his orthodontic degree from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1999. After completing his orthodontic residency he joined the full time faculty at Vanderbilt serving for the next seven years. Dr. Conley joined the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2006.
Dr. Conley focuses his research efforts on clinical projects. His primary focus is surgical orthodontics with a focus on the diagnosis and management of obstructive sleep apnea. He is also working on multiple clinical investigations in the area of three dimensional imaging and the new information it provides.
